To behave according to our beliefs
To do the right thing
To "
practice what we preach"

To
WALK
the
TALK

What does it take?

COMMITMENT
Fight the temptation to compromise
your values and beliefs.
It will make you stronger.

HONESTY
Build a reputation
as someone who tells the truth.
It will serve you well.

Hold yourself to high standards
and continually evaluate the image
you see in the mirror.
It will build your character.

RESPECT
Treat others with dignity
and make sure your behaviours
are respectful;
it will make you a person of quality.

COURAGE
Following your conscience
instead of "following the crowd”.
it will make you heroic.

and

INTEGRITY
Choose rightness
over ease
and convenience.
It will give you pride. . .
and peace.

I think we all have a little voice
inside us that will guide us
If we shut out all the clutter of our lives
and listen to that voice,
it will tell us the right thing to do.

Believe that walking the talk matters
Because it does!

Believe that you can make a difference
Because you can!

You have a choice
Start each new day with a commitment
to do what's right.

Always . . .
with every sunrise
comes new opportunities.

Today you have a clean slate
upon which to record
your life. . .
your legacy.

Did you forget that each day brings
you another chance?
Perhaps your second chance?

Seek the courage
to do the right thing.

Decide that today
is the day
you
WALK the TALK 1
          Walk Your Talk
If you want to be confident,
but don’t normally act that way,

today,
just
this
once,

act in the physical world
the way you believe a
confident person would.

Walk Your Talk

It's Possible
It’s possible that you can get all you wanted,
and have a fulfilling,
happy life.
Walk your talk
      and don’t give up
              just before success.
“It’s
Possible”

take a moment
- say the words slowly to yourself . . .

It’s
Possible

that’s all – -  -
no more . . .

just reflect on them . . .
let them roll through
your mind for a few moments . . .

. . . they alter your thought patterns into new directions . . .

and open
your
mind,
    your
            Inner
                    Spirit

all manner of things are possible . . .

consider . . .

Commitment
Honesty
Accountability
Respect
Courage
Ethics
Integrity

Words
good words;
important words
But they're nothing more than words,
unless we actually live them.
I'm only human, I'm just a woman.
Help me believe in what I could be
And all that I am.
Show me the stairway, I have to climb.
Lord for my sake, teach me to take
One day at a time.

Chorus:
One day at a time sweet Jesus
That's all I'm asking from you.
Just give me the strength
To do everyday what I have to do.
Yesterday's gone sweet Jesus
And tomorrow may never be mine.
Lord help me today, show me the way
One day at a time.

Do you remember, when you walked
among men?
Well Jesus you know if you're looking
below
It's worse now, than then.
Cheating and stealing, violence and
crime
So for my sake, teach me to take
One day at a time.
