I can choose to have a good day...
or a bad day.

I can choose to be a sharing person...
or a selfish one.

I can choose to be altruistic...
or greedy.

I can choose to be loving and considerate...
or to be vindictive and spiteful.

I can choose to be honest...
or dishonest.

I can choose to lead a happy life....
or an unhappy life.

I can choose to be accepting...
or prejudiced.

I can choose to be non-judgmental...
or judgmental.

I can choose to have a detached mind...
or an attached mind.

I can choose to live responsibly with consequences...
or be driven by misplaced guilt.

I can choose to control my thoughts...
or let my mind drift aimlessly.

I can choose to exercise self responsibility...
or to blame others.

I can choose to accept what is...
or to have expectations.

I can choose to engage life with joy and wonder...
or let my fears control and paralyse me.

I can choose to be a part of the answer...
or to be a part of the problem.

I can choose to have a program/plan...
or to always have an excuse.

I can choose to lead a purposeful life...
or to drift and wander aimlessly.

I can choose to say, "Let me do it for you"...
or to say, "That's not my job".

I can choose to be joyful...
or to be sad.

I can choose to see an answer for every problem...
or to see a problem with every answer.

I can choose to see a green near every sand trap...
or to see two or three sand traps near every green.

I can choose to assertively and proactively...
or be controlled by my habits or addictions.

I can choose to say, "It may be difficult, but it's possible"...
or to say, "It may be possible, but it's too difficult."

I can choose to see shadows wherever I go...
or to focus on the light that casts them.
