Perfection measures the results of an action,
and excellence measures the
force of an action.

Excellence is the ability to constantly do
your best, without it having to be the best.
1

Many of us crucify ourselves between two thieves
- regret for the past and fear of the future.
4

People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness.
Just because they're not on your road doesn't mean
they've gotten lost.
5
By now, you should see the great life
that you can live
right before your eyes.

                            Is living a safe life
really worth giving up the awesome light within you?

It is that Unworldly Light that truly sets us free.
Free from worry,
mediocrity,
passive action,
the need to fit in,
and most of all unhappiness.

Nothing in this world can hold you back if you don’t allow it to.

Stop letting “the world” poison your character,
preventing the blessings waiting for you in the river of life.

From this day forward,
live in harmony;
victim no more.

Today, you have the choice.

Everyone has free will.

Will you take a chance and break away?
If you do, you will never again turn away from the truth; the all-seeing light.

To truly enjoy your life you must give up all mediocrity.
Take on every task with all your might,
even if there is no tangible reward for doing so.

There is a vast difference between excellence and perfection.

Perfection is the ability to control all aspects of your life.
It is the absence of mistakes and failures.

Excellence is the force of an all-out-attempt to accomplish something.
Maturing is an option;
growing up simply happens . . .
regardless.
6

Many of life’s failures
are people who did not realize how
close they were to success when they gave up.
7

Many of our fears are tissue-paper-thin,
and a single courageous step
would carry us clear through them.
8

Let Go of Fear ;
don’t give up,
ever . . .
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light,
not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves,
"Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?"

Actually, who are you not to be?

Your playing small doesn't help the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that others won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to manifest the glory that is within us.

It is not just in some of us, it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give permission to others
to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others!
3
Realize that you did not create who you are
—that you were created—
and that your purpose is not your own.

We didn’t choose our family,
our bodies,
our talents,
our preferences,
our ways of being.

They were all given to us,
without our having any say in the matter.
This is true not just for you,
but for all of us.

It’s like we all arrived here for this game,
this purpose,
and none of us have any idea what it is . . .
like a treasure hunt
without a treasure map.

We’re all in the same boat,
on this magic ship,
leading to nowhere,
unless we create our own meaning,
and sail it with our imaginations
to our desired destination.
2

This is what many people have been taught, and believe.
There are other cultural, spiritual traditions who teach and believe otherwise;
that our life journey was carefully planned before birth,
to experience people and things and circumstances
so that we might learn lessons to make us better people.
Each time we face our fear,
we gain strength,
courage,
        and confidence in the doing.

Some people spend their whole lives looking for “solid ground”.
All ages, young and old, feel the emptiness occasionally.
The wish to belong,
reach your dreams,
and be happy
causes a void that nothing can seem to fill.

Usually, at some point you may wonder,
“is this it?
Will my life ever amount to any worth?“

This question leads people through drastic changes
like a new job,
house,
or partner.

Others ignore the question
and distract themselves with worthless tasks;
only going through life's motions.

Finally, there is you,
seeking the truth in life.
